I was invited to speak at Sustainable Brands conference in London and it struck me, "what is a sustainable brand"?
In my simple mind, a brand that focusses relentlessly on these 3 things, is a sustainable brand.
1. Strive to continually make the best products and services that are fit for purpose in a resource constrained, socially divided 21st century world.
2. Use your marketing investments, reach, assets and skills of your people to help solve real social and environmental problems that really matter.
3. Do all this in a way which is epic and spreads love for your people, your communities, customers and the planet which supports your entire existence.
