Seeking visual scribes
Come and help change the world for girls, so that girls can change the world.
We've partnered with Girl Effect to launch Open Studios – a global network of people interested in using creativity to help change the world for girls, so that girls can change the world. Girl Effect creates media brands, like Yegna in Ethiopia and Ni Nyampinga in Rwanda, to tell new, more positive stories about what it is to be a girl. This year, we're taking Open Studios on the road to Nigeria, India, and Indonesia, to collaborate with local creatives and girls, to do the same there.
Before we go, we're swarming with a team of 30 kickass creatives, for two days in London, to dream up ideas for media products with potential to be seen and shared by girls and youth in Nigeria, Indonesia, and India. And that's where you come in – we’re seeking visual scribes who can bring ideas to life during the two days by sketching storyboards, characters, logos, brand identities, web pages, and more, armed with a pencil and pen.
Does that sound like you or someone in your crew? If so, please be in touch at [email protected] or pass this on if you know someone.
It'll be all day on Wednesday 14th and Thursday 15th September. We have a budget for £200 per person for the two days (£100 a day). We'll have lunch together on both days too.
