Climate change is now a story where nature meets culture.
Climate change is happening fast. And acceptance that it’s man made has never been higher. Our ability to talk openly about it remains a massive barrier to change.
We collaborated with D&AD and Unilever on an experiment to see how we could get professionals within the creative industry to speak up on climate change and explore ways to encourage more open dialogue in the industry.
Break the Silence included a range of interviews with senior executives and a Swarm Live where we worked on prototypes to get the industry more engaged. We invited Professor Kevin Anderson, one of the UK's leading climate scientists to participate, as well as Dr Jonathan Rowson from the RSA who had just completed a major piece of research around our inability to talk more widely about climate change.
The project is currently dormant, though we're keen to take it into other industries.
