The Wild Network's mission is to re-connect UK kids with the outdoors. Roam Free. Play Wild.
Working with a diverse group of stakeholders including National Trust, National Health Service, Green Lions filmmakers, BritDoc and the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds, we co-created a growing movement: The Wild Network. This saw the launch of a film (Project Wild Thing) and a grassroots people-powered movement composed of 15,000 individuals and a growing network of nearly 3500 organisations, all dedicated to getting kids playing outside and reconnecting with nature.
Our role initially has been to hatch and nurture the movement, acting as a creative and strategic backbone for this new 'organising'. We have helped steer the entity from start-out to start-up including the recruitment of an operating board, development of the business plan and using Swarm approaches to engage the community in participating in the spread and development of the network.
We continue to lead on brand expression, mobilisation, innovation and venturing for the Wild Network.
